Assess organisational objectives and constructively challenge current plans to enhance the business strategies.

Offer informed contributions to the executive board by providing a broader view of external factors that affect the organisation or the business climate.

Evaluate the performance of the management in meeting their goals and objectives.

Monitor the reporting of performance to ensure that the obligations to the shareholders are respected.

Analyse, evaluate and mitigate financial risks. Translate regulations into policies and procedures and implement them. Ensure reasonable and efficient controls are in place for assessing and managing risk.

Provide leadership to ensure the board and shareholders that the financial controls and systems of IT and risk management are strong.

Advice on responsible remuneration practices and other HR issues such as monitoring executive performance and succession planning.

Manage external & internal stakeholder relations with the Supervisory Board, the Management team and relevant departments of the entity, including Risk Management, Compliance, Finance and Legal Affairs

General Company Director experience (regulation, legal, finance, HR and operations).
